Virginia College getting ready for move to new building
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) - Virginia College will move into the old Brookshire's building, at Ridgewood Road and Adkins Blvd, in about a month. The 66,000 square foot building will allow all of the classrooms to be housed under one roof.
The college announced the move last May, and school president Milton Anderson hoped to complete the move by April of 2013.
Renovations are on schedule, and the first classes will meet at the new location April 8.
The official grand opening of the new campus will be in early May.
