Southern Regional Dance Festival comes to Jackson | Arts & Culture

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) - Belhaven University will host a Southern Regional Dance Festival March 13-16. Top performers from Ole Miss, Belhaven, Auburn, Tulane, the University of Arkansas and the University of Southern Mississippi will participate.
Belhaven is partnering with the American College Dance Festival Association to host the festival. The organization is celebrating its 40th Anniversary.
The conference is the biggest of its kind in the south, and will feature three special performances at Jackson Academy that are open to the public.
The concerts are Wednesday, March 13th, Thursday, March 14th, and Friday March 15th at 7 PM each night. Tickets are $10 for each performance.
More than 50 dance classes are being offered, ranging in style from ballet, modern, jazz and hip-hop. Students will receive constructive feedback from noted national dance professionals.
